[Someone sent this to me privately. I do NOT believe that Rabbinical
Judaism has all the answers for they are without Christ for starters, but I did
find the analysis of looking at trouble areas in our lives as just not being in

This is typical Rabbinical thought but very wrong!

Evil is not "darkness." Evil is an active force, a fallen angel, who
likes to work in darkness, to improve his ability to deceive and
destroy.

All Divine Punishment is NOT therapeutic. It is (or can be)
therapeutic for God's children.

But God is Just and He also must punish the Wicked. Most punishment
in the universe will be in hell, where unrepentant sinners will spend
eternity.

Like many Rabbis this man assumes most men are basically good, which
contradicts Paul in Romans, big time.

This man supposes (wrongly) that man can improve his lot in life by
good works and by trying harder to be moral.

And , finally, there is no discussion about Jesus Christ, the Light
of the World, without whom all men are lost in eternal night. "Jesus
spoke to them, saying, 'I am the light of the world; he who follows
me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.'"

Space station will brighten night sky

The space shuttle Endeavour, which blasted off from the Kennedy space
centre yesterday, is due to dock with a floating hotel 200 miles up in the sky
at 7.57pm GMT tonight, and deliver a $600m set of solar panels bigger than
a jumbo jet.

When the panels are installed, the unfinished structure will gleam in reflected
sunlight to become the brightest thing in the night sky, after the moon and
the star Sirius.

People in Britain will not see the $60bn International Space Station (ISS)
until September 13 2001, when it reaches an altitude of about 17 in the
southern sky at around 18.04 GMT. But by then, an electrifying drama will
have been played out in orbit at 18,500 mph, as astronauts begin the highest
construction job of all time.

They will have to fit the 240ft-wide high-voltage arrays of the solar panels to a
structure already 13 storeys high - while working in freefall.

Each wing of the panels weighs a ton, and together they will generate 64kw
of current - enough to power 30 homes.

During construction, the arrays will have to be moved so they cannot
generate electricity, or the 80-ton space station tilted away from the sun, to
make conditions safe.

"We don't want to be the lightning rod, as it were, for the discharge between
any potential energy difference between the structure and space," astronaut
Joe Tanner said. "If they say we ought to take certain precautions, then by
golly, we ought to take those precautions."

THOSE who like short stories, or happy endings, will find little comfort in  the
latest report on the global AIDS crisis published this week by UNAIDS, the
United Nations agency monitoring the epidemic. A staggering 21.8m people
have died of AIDS since the first cases were diagnosed in the early 1980s,
3m in this year alone. Roughly one in every hundred of the world=92s adults  is
infected with HIV, the virus which causes AIDS, 50% more than UNAIDS had
predicted in 1991.

The plague still hits hardest in sub-Saharan Africa, which accounts for 70%
of the world=92s cases and 75% of its deaths. For the first time since the
epidemic began, the number of new infections has fallen slightly, to 3.8m
this year=97but largely because so many people are now infected with HIV
that the pool of potential victims is much smaller. And this lull in the vi ral
onslaught could end if the disease takes off in Nigeria, Africa=92s most
populous country and one of its least affected so far.

In Africa, HIV spreads mainly through unprotected heterosexual intercourse,
eased on its way by migrant workers, sexual violence (which makes young
girls particularly vulnerable to infection) and the prevalence of other sex ually-
transmitted diseases which give the virus a look-in. According to Peter Pio t,
head of UNAIDS, this deadly combination is compounded by poverty=97which
hobbles prevention programmes, cripples health-care systems and makes
costly drugs unattainable=97and a =93criminal waste of time=94 by many Afri can
governments which failed to tackle the epidemic at its early, tractable
stages. South Africa will pay dearly for its lack of initiative: according to
studies by ING Barings, an investment bank, AIDS will cost the country $22
billion or 17% of GDP by 2010.

While only a few countries, including Uganda and Senegal, have confronted
the disease head-on, there are signs that Africa=92s leaders are slowly wak ing
up to the devastation around them: next week=92s meeting of heads of state in
Addis Ababa to discuss the epidemic may raise new interest, if not new
resources. UNAIDS reckons it will take at least $3 billion a year to
implement comprehensive prevention programmes, plus basic medical
treatment for half of those affected.

Matters are not much better in Central Europe and the former Soviet Union.
Rampant intravenous drug use, collapsing health and education systems,
and a lack of political will to deal with the disease is fuelling an AIDS
explosion: the number of HIV infections has grown by three-fifths since las t
year. A few countries, such as Belarus and Kazakhstan, are tackling their
infection rates. But Russia reported more new cases this year than in all o f
the preceding 12 years=97though this may be due to gross under-reporting in
previous years.

And even where the battle against AIDS has been most successful, there are
signs of trouble ahead. Thailand has managed to reduce its number of new
infections since the early 1990s, largely through energetic prevention
campaigns among prostitutes. But there are now worries that the disease is
also spreading through non-commercial sexual relations, which tend to be
harder to target.

The story is not entirely gloomy. The year has brought new promises of
money from the G7 nations to help tackle the crisis in developing countries .
And although anti-HIV medicines are still prohibitively expensive for most of
the world=92s afflicted, drug companies have at least started to look at wa ys of
lowering their prices for the needy. Home-grown initiatives have vastly
improved access in a few countries, such as Brazil. And a new vaccine,
targeted at the type of HIV wreaking havoc in Africa, is scheduled to begin
clinical trials in Kenya early next year.

Print Your Next PC

Forget billion-dollar fabs. If Joe Jacobson has his way, you may be
printing cheap semiconductor chips on your desktop.

As Joseph Jacobson is fond of pointing out, for all the gains in
semiconductor chip performance over the past few decades, a typical
integrated circuit-the brains behind your computer-is still far too
expensive for most people on the planet. "Look at the way [a chip] is
made," he says, punching the air with one hand while directing a
PowerPoint presentation with the other. Fabricating a high-quality
logic chip like Intel's Pentium processor, he points out, takes "two
weeks, seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Chip fabrication facilities
like the ones that Intel has are a $1.6 billion tool. And there are
very few people on the globe who can touch that tool."

Jacobson's solution: a "desktop fab" able to print circuits directly
on a substrate, such as plastic, without the expense and hassle of a
multibillion-dollar manufacturing facility. Jacobson, head of the
Printed PC Group at MIT's Media Lab, has already managed to print
rudimentary but working transistors using an "ink" consisting of
nanometer-sized semiconductor particles. "Our goal is to follow the
trajectory silicon took, and start printing processors with perhaps
several hundred transistors, moving to thousands and then more," says
Jacobson. "We should be able to demonstrate a very simple processor in
the next 12 to 18 months." And he predicts that printed logic chips
with the speed and power of a Pentium could eventually be possible,
making microchips available for a fraction of the time and expense
associated with conventional manufacturing.

If Jacobson's vision becomes reality, it could change everything in
computer hardware. Printed electronics could be cheap enough to find
their way into everything from "wallpaper" able to display changeable
images to custom-designed logic circuitry. A chip fab on every desktop
could bring about the day when individuals download the architecture
of integrated circuits the way they download software today. It could,
in short, transform hardware manufacturing much the way the
"open-source" movement has changed how software is written. Indeed, at
his most visionary, Jacobson contends printed logic could give rise to
an open-source hardware movement where chips are custom-designed via
the Internet and printed by the consumer in about the same time it
takes to print out a Web page. You could, says Jacobson, "download the
chip design from the Web, tie in some modifications from some guy in
India, and boom-out comes the device."

It's lunchtime in Jacobson's lab, a windowless room with tangles of
colored cable dangling from the walls and ceiling and a row of
chemical hoods set along one wall. Jacobson's enthusiasm is
contagious, and the cramped lab is obviously where he and his handful
of students spend most of their time, even when they're eating. "What
we're interested in is `give me a piece of plastic and in a few
seconds I'll give you back a Pentium,' or something of that
complexity," he says between mouthfuls. "I'm serious about that. Not
slower than a Pentium; indistinguishable from a Pentium."

Coming from almost anyone else, such a claim would be hard to
swallow. But the 35-year-old associate professor has the credentials
to deliver the goods. After all, when Jacobson joined the Media Lab in
1996, his immediate ambition sounded nearly as outlandish. "I wanted
to have a display [screen] that could be printed," Jacobson
recalls. "I wanted something that was incredibly inexpensive,
something that would look like ink on paper." Something, in other
words, like "electronic paper."

His solution was a riff on research conducted at Xerox Palo Alto
Research Center (PARC) in the 1970s, where researchers had created
microscopic balls that were black on top, white on the bottom. An
electric charge determined which side of the balls rotated
upward. With some clever wiring, the balls could be made to form
letters and words. Jacobson and a handful of MIT undergrads pushed the
idea in new directions. Rather than making balls of two colors, they
fabricated millions of tiny microcapsules, each containing a liquid
mixture of oil, dark dye and tiny shards of white pigment. They then
layered the material onto flexible plastic and sandwiched it between
transparent electrodes on top and bottom. Depending on the charge
applied, the white shards migrate toward the top or bottom of the
sphere, and when activated in concert, the electrodes can force the
ink into recognizable patterns.

The rest is the stuff of venture-startup legends. E Ink was formed in
1997 with several of Jacobson's students at the helm, and has since
raised nearly $55 million in private financing, forming deals with the
likes of Motorola and Hearst Publishing. Media and pundits alike have
proclaimed the technology as the end of paper as we know it. But what
got lost in all the buzz over electronic paper is that you still need
electronics to drive the pixels (the ink) of the displays. The
prototypes built thus far by E Ink continue to rely on traditional
(read: not cheap) silicon chips to control the display. To reap the
full benefits of the technology, you need cheap, flexible electronic
circuitry. E Ink has recently partnered with Lucent Technologies,
whose researchers have been working on ways to print organic
transistors onto flexible plastic substrates. (The two companies hope
to unveil a working prototype of the technology this fall.)

Jacobson, however, has even larger ambitions. Not only does he want to
print the relatively simple electronic circuitry required to control a
display screen, he wants to go the next step and find a way to
fabricate high-quality logic on the order of a Pentium using similar
printing methods. Not only would you be able to "print" your screen;
you could, in a sense, print the PC itself-or at least its essential
circuitry. Inorganic Solution

Making a chip as powerful as a Pentium by traditional means is not an
easy feat. While semiconductor makers like Intel have learned to make
transistors smaller and smaller over the past few decades, squeezing
vastly more performance into the microprocessors, the basic mechanics
of chip making haven't changed much. The base material remains
silicon, sliced into thin wafers. An insulating layer of silicon
dioxide goes on top of the wafer; a thin layer of "photoresist" (a
light-sensitive material) is deposited on the silicon dioxide. Light
beams project the pattern of the circuit onto the photoresist through
a stencil; the pattern is then etched out by acids or reactive
gases. Additional layers of silicon are added, "dopants" such as boron
or arsenic are put into the mix, and finally the transistors are
linked by means of tiny aluminum wires.

The resulting microchips are a marvel of engineering and are largely
responsible for fueling the Information Revolution. Using
multibillion-dollar manufacturing plants, Intel and others can now
make transistors as small as a few hundred nanometers across (a
nanometer is a billionth of a meter), packing tens of millions of them
on a single chip. The downside is that the several hundred
manufacturing steps take upward of two weeks and require clean rooms
hundreds or thousands of times more pristine than your average
laboratory.

Last fall, Jacobson and his student Brent Ridley described in the
journal Science the first printed inorganic transistors. Several other
research groups, most notably at Lucent's Bell Labs and Cambridge
University in Britain, have also printed transistors. These groups,
however, are using organic polymers; such materials could have great
promise in the electronics required to make cheap, flexible
displays. But organic transistors appear to be inherently limited in
computing speed. Jacobson's big breakthrough is that he and his
colleagues at the Media Lab have created liquid suspensions of
inorganic semiconductors-the same class of materials used in your
Pentium chip-so that they can be used in a printing process. In other
words, rather than carving logic into a solid piece of silicon,
Jacobson is simply printing it onto a substrate.

Jacobson's optimism is justified by his group's rapid advances in
synthesizing "semiconductor ink." Under normal conditions,
semiconducting materials such as silicon, cadmium selenide and gallium
arsenide form bulk crystals with melting points well over 1000
C. Jacobson and his team, however, have found a way to synthesize a
solution of tiny "nanocrystals" of 100 atoms or less. This
semiconductor ink can be patterned or printed onto a variety of
substrates, including thin sheets of plastic, at temperatures under
300 C. The particles, Jacobson notes, are small enough to form
200-nanometer structures-about the scale of complex integrated
circuits like Intel's Pentium chip.

The suspension of nanoparticles is so similar to conventional inks
that Jacobson and his co-workers are able to use an inkjet printer
manufactured by Hitachi to fabricate tiny machines called MEMS, or
microelectromechanical systems. MEMS, which are one of the
fastest-growing new areas in materials technology (see "May the Micro
Force Be With You," TR September/October 1999), are typically made
using many of the same arduous techniques used to fabricate
conventional silicon microchips. Using the inkjet printer, Jacobson
and his students have managed to fashion both a working thermal
actuator and a linear-drive motor with features on the order of 100
micrometers by simply depositing hundreds of layers of ink. And they
are able to form the tiny machines without a clean room and at
temperatures well under 300 C.

The group has also used the inkjet printer to produce much more
intelligent radio-frequency identification tags. Others are also
working on such tags but are relying on logic using organic
transistors. Jacobson thinks that the faster logic possible with
inorganics can make his version of the tags far more intelligent,
allowing companies to track everything from expensive goods to the
packages in a supermarket. A radio signal detector could read the
devices, update them and integrate them into inventory systems. A
person could walk into a supermarket, pick up some items and walk out,
and the money would be automatically tallied up and deducted from his
or her bank account-and from the supermarket's inventory system.

Using printed circuitry like that is just the beginning. Because the
computer logic is printed, it can be put on the surface of almost
anything: soup can labels, textiles, soda cans. "You could add
intelligence to almost anything you want," claims Colin Bulthaup, one
of Jacobson's students. "One thing we want to do is build a digital
camera in a business card: everything embedded into the card
itself. There's no reason to have all these clunky silicon chips. You
can pattern your semiconductor, your photodetector-all the materials
together-and integrate them into a single device, one that is
incredibly small, incredibly cheap and incredibly quick to produce."

Making such devices using an inkjet printer, however, is still a far
cry from printing high-quality logic circuits. That requires
fabricating transistors and other electronic components at the scale
of a few hundred nanometers-the level of precision in a Pentium
chip. For that, Jacobson has made use of polymer stamps that don't
look all that different from the stamps used to certify documents. In
one version, the stamp has the architecture of the circuit in positive
relief and is dipped in the nanoparticle ink; the circuitry is then
transferred by hand onto a substrate. Also promising is a negative
stamp that "embosses" a thin layer of ink previously deposited onto a
plastic surface. The stamp's features push aside the ink at certain
points, forming whatever feature is engraved on the stamp at
resolutions of 200 nanometers.

Pentium Challenge

This is all a mighty attractive vision. But can printed electronics
actually compete with multibillion-dollar fabs in making the exacting
circuitry needed for high-quality logic? Sigurd Wagner, for one,
doesn't think so. A professor of electrical engineering at Princeton
University, Wagner is also pursuing research into printed inorganic
logic, but he sees its promise in cheap electronics that can be used
over large surfaces, not in taking on high-quality microprocessors.

His goal, says Wagner, "isn't competing with integrated-circuit
technology; it's to go into an area that traditional integrated
circuits can't handle." Attractive applications include wallpaper that
acts like a giant display screen, electronics woven into textiles-even
"electronic skin" covering an aircraft that is able to respond
mechanically to changing conditions.

Jacobson agrees that the short-term payoff will come in producing the
cheap, flexible electronics that could make such applications
possible. "There are a huge number of applications for incredibly
inexpensive, low-power disposable logic on plastic substrates," he
says. And for now, Jacobson's printed circuits are better suited for
these uses. For one thing, they are still far too slow for advanced
logic applications; while Jacobson's inorganic transistors are an
order of magnitude faster than the printed organic transistors made by
Lucent and other research groups, they're still 100 times slower than
the best inorganic transistors made from conventional techniques.

But making tomorrow's Pentium-like chips on a desktop fab remains the
twinkle in Jacobson's eye. That will take increasing the speed of the
printed inorganic logic. It's "likely a several-year research
project," he says, "but we believe it's doable."

It's just the type of challenge and hugely ambitious project that
Jacobson relishes. It is the type of project that makes you rethink
the possibilities of a very familiar object. With E Ink, he is giving
a new twist to a very old invention-the printed page. Rather than
throw out the newspaper, Jacobson wants to preserve its virtues while
updating it for the information age. And now he's rethinking the
fabrication of integrated circuits. If Jacobson can make his visions
of printed circuitry practical, he could change the meaning of
"hardware" and replace the multibillion-dollar semiconductor fab with
something not so different from the stamps that have been around for
thousands of years.

While the rest of the computing industry attempts to drive down
hardware prices through mass production of a few standardized chips,
Jacobson is going in the opposite direction, trying to make every
person the master-and manufacturer-of his or her own logic.

The Temple Mount Faithful's post earlier this week stated that "the coming of
Mashiach ben David...is soon to occur"; religious Jews are waiting for the
Messiah, son of David. This got me to thinking how they would recognize
him when he came. I'm not talking about what he will do, but what will he
look like? David was supposedly ruddy, red-haired with beautiful eyes (1
Samuel 16:12) and it stands to reason that one of his offspring might have
inherited those particular characteristics. Another prominent Biblical figure
who was of the same ruddy complexion was Esau (Edom). Maybe some day
a red-haired man with a healthy, robust form will arise to lead Israel? The
question will then need to be asked, "Does he take after David or Esau?"; is
he Mashiach or a counterfeit? I guess we'll have to look in his eyes.

Moses & Elijah

        Moses, as thou hast given thy life for them (the Israelites) in this world,
        so in time to come (the days of the Messiah) when I shall bring Elias the
        prophet, you two shall come together. (Debarim Rabba, sect. 3. fol.
        239.2.)

Another man who is sometimes described as ruddy, although I think this is
more a description of his overall health, is Moses (he is usually described as
white haired but could he have been a red-head?). He's one of the two
witnesses that will be making an appearance around the time of Mashiach
(Messiah).

He could be red-haired but there will be another obvious giveaway the minute
he speaks for he is said to have a lisp. The story goes that as a child (3
years old) playing at court, he took Pharaoh's crown and placed it on his own
head. Pharaoh was disturbed and thought to test whether it was just an
innocent incident or whether Moses was cunning and that this was a portent
of things to come. A diamond and a glowing coal were placed before the
child with the thought that he would choose the glowing coal that shimmered
and danced over the diamond proving that he was acting as an ordinary child
who is attracted to shining things. Moses reached for the diamond but the
angel Gabriel redirected his hand so that he picked up the glowing coal and
promptly put it in his mouth. This seems to help explain why Moses said he
was "not eloquent... slow of speech, and of a slow tongue" (Exo 4:10).

As far as Elijah [Elias] is concerned, he is noteworthy for being exceedingly
hairy either physically or regarding the garment he wore. Interestingly, the
word "mantle" [0155] that is usually associated with Elijah is one of the
same words used to describe Esau: "And the first came out red, all over like
an hairy garment [0155]; and they called his name Esau" (Gen 25:25).

Here we have 3 men waiting to take the stage in these end-times and they
are all associated with a red, ruddy color which is #0132 in Strong's. If you
dig a little deeper into the origins of that word you find that it is dervied from
Adam #119.

Further anti-godly UN resolutions against Israel and Jerusalem
G=96d=92s judgement on those nations is soon to come.

On Friday 1st December, the evil hypocritical UN again passed 6 resolutions
against the G=96d and people of Israel and Jerusalem. These evil and
anti-godly resolutions stated that =93the Israeli control over Jerusalem is
illegal and therefore has no validity=94. This was not enough for them and
the resolutions also stated that Israel should withdraw from the Golan
Heights and called for self-determination for those they call the
=93Palestinians=94.

What is even more evil in this resolution is that 145 nations supported the
resolution about Jerusalem and only Israel was against it! Even the United
States of America only abstained. The other resolutions were passed by the
same 145 nations and only Israel and the United States voted against them.

This is not the first time that the UN has passed such evil resolutions
with such a great majority of all the nations. However, this time the
resolutions were made at a time when the terrorist Arafat and his so-called
=93Palestinians=94 are attacking Israel and Jerusalem in a daily violence w hich
is actually a war against Israel. The meanings of these resolutions is that
all the nations support this war against the G=96d and people of Israel.

These resolutions confirm what I wrote in previous articles that the Arab
attacks with the support of all the nations are the first stages of the
end-time war against Israel that was so clearly written by the prophet
Ezekiel in chapters 38 and 39 where he called it the war of Gog and Magog.
Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog, Thus says the Lord God; In
that day when my people of Israel dwells securely, shall you not know it?
And you shall come from your place from the farthest north, you, and many
people with you, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a
mighty army; And you shall come up against my people of Israel, like a
cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring
you against my land, that the nations may know me, when I shall be
sanctified in you, O Gog, before their eyes. (Ezekiel 38:14-16)

The prophet Ezekiel destroys all the illusions of all the nations who
believe that they can fight against G=96d, His Word, and His prophetic
end-time redemptional plans for Israel, in order to destroy Israel which
has been the longtime goal of all the Islamic nations and their allies all
over the world. He very clearly proclaims the Word of G=96d in the ears of
all of them. And I will strike your bow from your left hand, and will cause
your arrows to fall from your right hand. You shall fall upon the mountains
of Israel, you, and all your bands, and the peoples that are with you; I
will give you to the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the
field to be devoured. You shall fall upon the open field; for I have spoken
it, says the Lord God. And I will send a fire on Magog, and among those who
dwell securely in the islands; and they shall know that I am the Lord. And
I will make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will
not let them profane my holy name any more; and the nations shall know that
I am the Lord, the Holy One in Israel. (Ezekiel 39:3-7)

He prophesied the only prophetic end-time agenda of G=96d and His love for
Israel and to redeem Israel and give them the land which He promised them
in an eternal covenant. For I will take you from among the nations, and
gather you from all countries, and will bring you into your own land. ...
And I will put my spirit inside you, and cause you to follow my statutes,
and you shall keep my judgments, and do them. And you shall dwell in the
land that I gave to your fathers; and you shall be my people, and I will be
your God. ... Thus says the Lord God: In the day that I shall have cleansed
you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities,
and the ruined places shall be rebuilt. And the desolate land shall be
tilled, instead of being the desolation that was in the sight of all who
passed by. And they shall say, This land that was desolate has become like
the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities have
become fortified, and are inhabited. Then the nations that are left around
you shall know that I, the Lord, have rebuilt the ruined places, and have
replanted that which was desolate; I, the Lord, have spoken it, and I will
do it. Thus says the Lord God: This also I will let the house of Israel,
ask me to do for them; I will increase their men like a flock. Like the
flock of sacrifices, like the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts,
shall the ruined cities be filled with flocks of men; and they shall know
that I am the Lord. (Ezekiel 36:24,27,28,33-38)

I advise the leaders of all those nations, including the President of the
United States, to immediately change their evil ways and plans against the
G=96d and people of Israel, Jerusalem and the land which G=96d gave to Isra el
in His covenant with Israel. They must do so before it is too late. I
advise them all to very carefully read with great attention and to accept
the Word of G=96d and His end-time plans with the people and land of Israel .
Then, perhaps, they will understand that G=96d=92s plans for Jerusalem to be
His and His people=92s eternal capital where He at this special time he is
going to rebuild His temple and to continue to be faithful to His covenant
with Israel and His promise to give this land only to them and to no other
foreign nation, especially not to a nation which never existed in this land
nor in any other place in the world. Do they think that G=96d is not a
faithful G=96d? G=96d taught all of them and showed again and again through out
history that He is faithful to His beloved and chosen nation, Israel and
the land which He gave to them to dwell their together with Him. I advise
all of them to pay close attention to this very clear Word of G=96d that H e
gave to all of us through Ezekiel: And say to them, Thus says the Lord God:
Behold, I will take the people of Israel from among the nations, where they
have gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their
own land; And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of
Israel; and one king shall be king to them all; and they shall be no more
two nations, nor shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all;
Nor shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their
detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions; but I will save
them in all their dwelling places, where they have sinned, and will cleanse
them; so shall they be my people, and I will be their God. And David my
servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd; they
shall also follow my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them. And
they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob my servant, where
your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell in it, they and their
children, and their grandchildren for ever; and my servant David shall be
their prince for ever. And I will make a covenant of peace with them; it
shall be an everlasting covenant with them; and I will place them, and
multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
My tabernacle also shall be with them; and I will be their God, and they
shall be my people. And the nations shall know that I, the Lord, sanctify
Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.
(Ezekiel 37:21-28)

The prophet Zechariah also brings the Word of G=96d before the eyes of all
the nations of the world and it is so sad that none of the nations pay
attention to it before backing these evil resolutions. It is so sad because
they still have their illusions that they can take Jerusalem away from
Israel and give it to their so-called =93Palestinian=94 and Islamic allies
because of their oil needs, materialistic profits and their many votes in
the UN. They prefer all of this to the One G=96d in Whom they state in such  a
hypocritical way that they believe. Yet they fight against Him, His Word
and His people, Israel. I advise all of them to read the Word of G=96d in
Zechariah concerning His plans for Jerusalem. It will destroy all their
illusions about the capital and heart, soul and focus of the G=96d and peop le
of Israel. The burden of the word of the Lord concerning Israel, says the
Lord, who stretches out the heavens, and lays the foundation of the earth,
and forms the spirit of man inside him. Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup
of reeling to all the people around, and it shall also be against Judah in
the siege against Jerusalem. And on that day I will make Jerusalem a
burdensome stone for all the peoples; all who burden themselves with it
shall be grievously hurt. And all the peoples of the earth shall be
gathered together against it. On that day, says the Lord, I will strike
every horse with panic, and its rider with madness; and I will open my eyes
upon the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the nations with
blindness. And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The
inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength through the Lord of hosts their
God. On that day I will make the governors of Judah like a hearth of fire
among trees, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all
the peoples around, on the right hand and on the left; and Jerusalem shall
be inhabited again in her own place, in Jerusalem. And the Lord shall save
the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the
glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against
Judah. On that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and
he who is feeble among them shall be as David on that day; and the house of
David shall be like a divine being, like the angel of the Lord before them.
And it shall come to pass on that day, that I will seek to destroy all the
nations that come against Jerusalem. And I will pour upon the house of
David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of
supplication; and they shall look towards me, regarding those whom the
nations have pierced; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for an
only son, and shall be in bitterness over him, as one who is in bitterness
for his firstborn. (Ezekiel12:1-10) Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight
against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet
shall stand on that day upon the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem
on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall be split in its midst toward the
east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half
of the mountain shall be moved toward the north, and half of it toward the
south. And you shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of
the mountains shall reach to Azal; yes, you shall flee, like you fled from
the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah; and the Lord my God
shall come, and all the holy ones with you. And it shall come to pass on
that day, that there shall not be bright light nor thick darkness; But it
shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night; but
it shall come to pass, that at evening time there shall be light. And it
shall be on that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half
of them toward the eastern sea, and half of them toward the western sea; in
summer and in winter shall it be. And the Lord shall be king over all the
earth; on that day the Lord shall be one, and his name one. ... And men
shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but
Jerusalem shall dwell secure. (Zechariah14:1-9,11)
I advise all the nations to immediately stop their long persecution of
thousands of years which they have made and continue to make against the
people of G=96d , Israel, and to leave their illusions to take the Holy Lan d
away from Israel. I advise them to read and pay dep attention to the
covenant which G=96d made with Israel concerning the Promised Land and its
boundaries. In the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, To
your seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great
river, the river Euphrates; (Genesis15:18) And I will establish my covenant
between me and you and your seed after you in their generations for an
everlasting covenant, to be a God to you, and to your seed after you. And I
will give to you, and to your seed after you, the land where you are a
stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will
be their God. And God said to Abraham, You shall keep my covenant
therefore, you, and your seed after you in their generations. This is my
covenant, which you shall keep, between me and you and your seed after you;
Every male child among you shall be circumcised. ... And God said, Sarah
your wife shall bear you a son indeed; and you shall call his name Isaac;
and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and
with his seed after him. ... But my covenant will I establish with Isaac,
whom Sarah shall bear to you at this set time in the next year.
(Genesis17:7-10,19,21)

This is not a simple time in the history of all mankind. Evil controls so
many nations, not only with regard to Israel, but also in their daily
lives. But Israel has become the focus of all their evil and hypocritical
behaviour when they prefer the daily and temporary materialistic
achievements and their relationships with the enemies of Israel and not the
G=96d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob Whom they put in a corner and ignore and
deny His Word. From Jerusalem, His holy city, the Word of G=96d warns all o f
them that His judgement is soon to fall on all of them: For the day of the
Lord is near upon all the nations. As you have done, it shall be done to
you; your reward shall return upon your own head. For as you have drunk
upon my holy mountain, so shall all the nations drink continually; indeed,
they shall drink, and they shall swallow down, and they shall be as though
they had not been. But upon Mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there
shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their own
possessions. (Obadiah15-17)

The near future in Israel will be critical. More than at any time in the
past, the G=96d of Israel calls on Israel to be strong with Him with His
covenant and His promises and not to fear even all the nations all over the
world. Together with the G=96d of Israel we shall overcome these critical
days. Together with G=96d, Israel feels safe and protected. We love our G =96d
with all our heart, soul and strength. We love the G=96d of Abraham, Isaac
and Jacob Who created our nation and chose it from among all the nations to
carry out His eternal mission to our seed and all the nations. We shall
overcome the troubles together with Him and We completely trust the G=96d o f
Israel and His prophetic end-time plans with His nation, Israel.

In Israel in these special days we read and pray the Word of G=96d and I
advise all our friends and the friends of the G=96d and people of Israel to
do the same. May I ask everyone to especially read and pray Zechariah 8 and
Psalms 122-126

Again the word of the Lord of hosts came to me, saying, Thus says the Lord
of hosts; I was zealous for Zion with great zeal, and I was zealous for her
with great fury. Thus says the Lord: I have returned to Zion, and will
dwell in the midst of Jerusalem; and Jerusalem shall be called the City of
Truth; and the mountain of the Lord of hosts the Holy Mountain. Thus says
the Lord of hosts: Old men and old women shall again dwell in the streets
of Jerusalem, and every man with his staff in his hand for the fullness of
days. And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing
in its streets. Thus says the Lord of hosts: If it is marvellous in the
eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be
marvellous in my eyes? says the Lord of hosts. Thus says the Lord of hosts:
Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west
country; And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of
Jerusalem; and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth
and in righteousness. Thus says the Lord of hosts: Let your hands be
strong, you who hear in these days these words by the mouth of the
prophets, who spoke on the day that the foundation of the house of the Lord
of hosts was laid, saying that the temple might be built. For before these
days there was no wage for man, nor any wage for beast; nor was there any
peace to him who went out or who came in, because of the adversary; for I
set all men everyone against his neighbour. But now I will not be to the
remnant of this people as in the former days, says the Lord of hosts. For
there shall be the seed of peace; the vine shall give her fruit, and the
ground shall give her produce, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I
will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things. And it
shall come to pass, that as you were a curse among the nations, O house of
Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and you shall be a
blessing. Do not fear, but let your hands be strong. For thus says the Lord
of hosts: As I intended to do evil to you, when your fathers provoked me to
wrath, says the Lord of hosts, and I did not relent; So do I intend in
these days to do good to Jerusalem and to the house of Judah. Do not fear.
These are the things that you shall do; Speak every man the truth to his
neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates; And let
none of you plot evil in your hearts against his neighbour; do not love
false oaths; for all these are things that I hate, said the Lord. And the
word of the Lord of hosts came to me, saying, Thus says the Lord of hosts:
The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of
the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall become times of joy and
gladness, and cheerful feasts to the house of Judah; therefore love truth
and peace. Thus says the Lord of hosts: It shall yet come to pass, that
there shall come people, and the inhabitants of many cities; And the
inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to
entreat the favour of the Lord, and to seek the Lord of hosts. I will go
also. And many peoples and strong nations shall come to seek the Lord of
hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the Lord. Thus says the Lord of
hosts: In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men from the nations
of every language, shall take hold of the robe of a Jew, saying, We will go
with you; for we have heard that God is with you. (Zechariah8)

Psalm 122
A Song of Maalot of David. I was glad when they said to me, Let us go into
the house of the Lord.
Our feet shall stand inside your gates, O Jerusalem.
Jerusalem is built as a city which is bound firmly together;
There the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord, as was decreed for Israel,
to give thanks to the name of the Lord.
For thrones of judgment were set there, the thrones of the house of David.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; those who love you shall prosper.
Peace be within your walls, and prosperity within your palaces.
For my brothers and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within you.
Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek your good.

Psalm 123
A Song of Maalot. To you lift I up my eyes, O you who are enthroned in the
heavens.
Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, and as
the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the
Lord our God, until he shall be gracious to us.
Be gracious to us, O Lord, be gracious to us; for we are overfilled with
contempt.
Our soul is overfilled with the scorn of those who are at ease, and with
the contempt of the arrogant.

Psalm 124
A Song of Maalot of David. If it had not been the Lord who was on our side,
let Israel now say;
If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, when men rose up against u s;
Then they would have swallowed us up alive, when their wrath was kindled
against us;
Then the waters would have overwhelmed us, the stream would have gone over
our soul;
Then the proud waters would have gone over our soul.
Blessed be the Lord, who has not given us as a prey to their teeth.
Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers; the snare is
broken, and we have escaped.
Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

Psalm 125
A Song of Maalot. Those who trust in the Lord shall be like Mount Zion,
which cannot be removed, but abides for ever.
As the mountains are around Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people
from this time forth and for evermore.
For the sceptre of the wicked shall not rest upon the share allotted to the
righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands to do wrong.
Do good, O Lord, to those who are good, and to those who are upright in
their hearts.
As for those who turn aside to their crooked ways, the Lord shall lead them
away with the evildoers; but peace shall be upon Israel.

Psalm 126
A Song of Maalot. When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, we were
like men who dream.
Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing; then
they said among the nations, The Lord has done great things for them.
The Lord has done great things for us; we are glad.
Bring back our captivity, O Lord, like the streams in the Negev.
Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy.
He who goes forth weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come back
with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.

Everyone in the world who has the G=96d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in his
heart and loves Israel, the people which in these critical days is carrying
a great godly mission and fulfiling an important part in G=96d=92s end-time
plans and activities is called on to assist, support and love and put
themselves together with the people of Israel and The Temple Mount and Land
of Israel Faithful Movement, We were chosen and anointed by G=96d to fulfil
G=96d=92s end-time vision to rebuild the house of G=96d and to bring Him in to the
midst of our lives exactly as He commanded: =93Build me a house and I will
dwell among you=94; to make this vision a reality in our lifetime; to act
with the G=96d of Israel to accomplish His end-time plans so that we shall
soon see the coming of Mashiach ben David. We believe in the G=96d of Israe l
and we trust Him. We are looking forward to everyone putting themselves
together with us in the great cause which G=96d gave us. G=96d is with us.

The Israel Defense Forces is carving a new bypass road through territory
under the control of the Palestinian Authority, and over agricultural land
belonging to Palestinians, near the Netzarim settlement in the Gaza strip

The road is meant to create another access route to the settlement, which
can currently be reached only via a single road, stretching from the Karni
outpost in the northwest of the strip.

The new road begins south of the Karni position, and joins the existing road
near the Netzarim junction. IDF sources told Ha'aretz that the purpose of
the new road is to distance Israeli traffic from the Suja'iyeh neighborhood,
from which Israeli convoys sometimes come under fire.

In contrast to agreements in place in the West Bank, there is no concept of
Area B territory in the Gaza Strip, where civil authority is held by the
Palestinians and Israel is responsible for security. According to the Oslo
agreements, there are only "white" areas in Gaza, under full Israeli
control, and "brown" areas, under complete Palestinian control.

The new road will pass through "brown" areas, and is being carried out
without previous coordination with the Palestinian Authority and without its
agreement.

The IDF claims that road is a response to an "urgent security need" and will
provide secure access to the Netzarim settlement for its residents, even
though this harms the interests of Palestinian landowners and infringes on
Palestinian Authority control.

The new road is one of several unilateral moves by the IDF in its attempts
to provide greater security for the settlers. Palestinian homes and fields
overlooking the road to Netzarim, were destroyed in order to widen the "dead
ground" on either side of the road by 75 meters.

Army Radio reported in their morning news reports that the
Palestinians attempted last night to conquer Rachel's Tomb. IMRA
asked Israel Radio why they did not cover the story (they mentioned
that a helicopter fired two rockets at a source of Palestinian fire
at the Eida refugee camp next to Bethlehem without explaining the
context). The newsroom responded by thanking IMRA for bringing the
story to their attention.

PALESTINIAN ATTEMPT TO CONQUER RACHEL'S TOMB

The Palestinians tried last night to conquer Rachel's Tomb, located
on the outskirts of Bethlehem. The Palestinians, in a three-pronged
attack, succeeded to get within tens of meters of the holy site.

A senior military source confirmed this morning that this was the
fiercest Palestinian attack against Israeli security forces since
violence broke out in the territories.

Three Palestinians were wounded in the event and two houses burned.
There were no Israeli casualties.

Our correspondent in the territories, Yanon Magal, reports that the
heavy exchange of fire continued for hour. During the course of the
shooting, helicopters fired missiles at the sources of Palestinian
fire in the Eida refugee camp.

This morning it was quiet in Bethlehem.

Ha'aretz (IMRA): IDF revises strategy of attacking PA targets

Use of helicopter gunships now seen as ineffective

[IMRA note: The helicopters were used to attack empty buildings rather than
weapons dumps or other targets of military significance. Helicopters
continue to be used from time to time for their ability to take out
buildings occupied by a source of fire - as was the case last night in the
battle over Rachel's Tomb.]

Israel is minimizing its use of helicopter gunships against Palestinian
Authority targets after concluding that aerial attacks have been largely
ineffective, while having a negative impact in the battle for public
opinion.

Analysts in the defense establishment say that helicopter attacks were
effective only during their first deployment - when firing at targets in
Ramallah in retaliation for the lynch of two IDF reservists in mid-October.
Subsequent helicopter attacks, particularly the barrage of over 50 missiles
fired on Gaza after the school bus was bombed in Kfar Darom, did not have
any real deterrent effect, according to these analysts.

Since this attack in Gaza two weeks ago, the IDF has refrained from
deploying these attack helicopters. Even after the bus bombing in Hadera on
November 22, Israel did not resume this mode of military retaliation.

A senior defense official explained to Ha'aretz that "from the moment that
it became clear that the confrontation would continue for a long time,
Israel had to free itself from the pattern of 'incidents and responses.'
When the fighting is continuous, it is no longer a question of immediate
response to each attack, but rather a continuum of actions over time." The
source noted that this long-term approach would enable Israel to "take
advantage of places where there is a relative advantage in order to hit a
Palestinian target, even if this is not done immediately after an attack
against us."

According to this defense official, Israeli military actions should now
focus on "successfully attacking those who attack us." A number of elite IDF
units are now deployed in the territories to target senior activists in
Fatah and other Palestinian organizations. The assessment of the IDF is that
the killing of Hussein Abayat in Beit Sahur and Jamal Abdel Razeq near Rafah
has proved to be very effective in disrupting the operation of organizations
attacking Israel.

On the other hand, Israel is continuing to keep a low military profile in
Area A and is not targeting the top leadership of the Palestinian Authority
(Mohammed Dahlan, for example) in order to avoid escalating the conflict.

(BNI-Dec.4) Shooting was reported in the Benjamin Regional Council
community of P=92sagot on Sunday night. No injuries. IDF returned fire.

(BNI-Dec.4) Soldiers stationed at Rachel=92s Tomb were fired upon on Sunday
night at about 9:30pm. There were no reported injuries. They returned fire.

3. Soldier=92s condition improving following slashing attack
(BNI-Dec.4) The man identified as the slashing victim from Aram Junction
on Sunday is reportedly an IDF soldier who underwent emergency surgery for
his injury. He is reported in serious but stable condition in Jerusalem=92s
Hadassah Hospital. A second soldier was lightly injured in the attack as
well. The attacker fled.

The soldier is now recuperating in a respiratory intensive care unit in
Hadassah Hospital in Ein Kerem, Jerusalem.

4. IDF preparing to permit opening of Mount Hermon resort
(BNI-Dec.4) IDF officials announced preparations are underway to open the
Mount Hermon resort for the winter season. It was announced earlier the
ski lodge and resort would not open due to the precarious security
situation in northern Israel but it now appears the IDF senior command has
changed their evaluation of the situation.

5. Woman lightly injured in stone-throwing attack
(BNI-Dec.4) An Israeli woman sustained light injuries in a Sunday night
stone-throwing attack near Betar. The woman=92s vehicle was attacked with
stones from the Arab village of Hussan.

6. Gilo comes under fire Sunday night
(BNI-Dec.4) The Office of the IDF Spokesman has confirmed that the
southern Jerusalem neighborhood of Gilo came under gunfire attack on
Sunday night. No injuries. There was property damage.

(BNI-Dec.4) Shooting attacks were recorded in the following locations on
Sunday.
1. The Minharot road connecting southern Jerusalem to the Gush Etzion area
of Judea.
2. At an IDF position in Bet Haggai, a community in the Southern Hebron
Hills.
3. Ayosh Junction in Samaria, bordering Ramallah to the south and Bet El
to the north.
4. An IDF vehicle fired upon south of Kiryat Arba.
5. An IDF vehicle was fired upon near Silwad, in the area of the Jewish
community of Ofra, in the Benjamin Regional Council of Samaria.
6. An Israeli vehicle was fired upon on the Elon Road near the Jewish
community of Rimonim.
7. An IDF patrol came under fire on Sunday evening near Morag, in Gaza.

There were no injuries in the shooting attacks.

8. Children deployed in anti-Israel attacks
(BNI-Dec.4) On Sunday morning, a group of Arab children were brought to
the area adjacent to the Neve Dekalim industrial area in Gaza. The
children were instructed to throw rocks and other objects. They were
dispersed by IDF forces.

Judea and Samareah:

An IDF soldier was seriously injured and an additional soldier was lightly
injured from knife wounds incurred during a terrorist act at Aram Juncture
adjacent to Jerusalem.

A military physician treated both of the wounded soldiers at the site of the
occurrence.

The seriously injured soldier was transferred to a hospital for further
treatment.

IDF soldiers who were present at the time opened fire at the Terrorist. An
IDF force performed a scan of the area, but the terrorist was not found.

There were transgressions both before and after the occurrence, IDF forces
employed crowd control measures in response.

An Israeli citizen was lightly injured when stones were thrown at her car.
She was driving through Kefar Houssan, located west of Bethlehem.

There were a number of shooting incidents throughout Israel:

Jerusalem's Gilo neighborhood was fired upon from the village of Bet Jala.
An apartment in Gilo was damaged from the shooting.

Further shooting incidents were directed at the following locations: The
Tunnel Road south of Jerusalem, IDF forces at the Bet Hagai settlement, An
IDF force at Ayosh Junction, An IDF vehicle south of Qiryat Arba in the
Hebron area, An IDF force located in the village of Sillwad and a Civilian
vehicle travelling along the Alon road adjacent to the settlement of
Rimonim. In all occurrences there were no injured and no damage was
incurred. In several cases the IDF returned fire towards the source of the
shooting.

Throughout the day violent confrontations occurred at Al-Fuwar, Ayosh and
Aram Junctions, respectively.

IDF forces employed crowd control measures.

Gaza Strip:

During the evening hours an IDF patrol near the Morag settlement was fired
upon. Additional shooting incidents occurred at IDF posts near the Katif
settlement and in the Rafiah region. There were no injured and no damage was
incurred.

This morning a group of Palestinian children arrived at the Newe Dekalim
Industrial Area and began throwing objects towards the area. IDF Soldiers
dispersed the children.

SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS - December 4 2000

    VOP charged Monday morning that the Israeli army was giving back-up fire
in support of settlers attacking citizens in Husan near Bethlehem who were
trying to carry out a massacre of Palestinians similar to the one carried
out in Ramadan 1993 (i.e. the Goldstein massacre in Hebron in which 29
were murdered). ((SEE QUOTE OF THE DAY))

   VOP led its Sunday morning news round-up with an interview with PA
Information Minister Yasser Abd Rabbo who reiterated the PA's demands for a
complete final settlement including the right of return, Jerusalem and an
independent Palestinian state in all of the West Bank and Gaza.

   A similar statement Sunday by PA Presidential Secretary Taib
Abdel-Rahim-underscoring the right of return-- was reported in detail
throughout the day.

    VOP continues to feature in detail the deaths and funerals of the
martyrs, giving much detail to Palestinian wounded as well. In addition, the
theme of economic and medical deprivation is appearing regularly in the
statements of PA officials.

QUOTE OF THE DAY:
   "A responsible Palestinian source issued the following statement last
night: 'In a premeditated and planned escalation, the Israeli occupation
army and a group of settlers opened fire with their weapons on tens of
worshipers in the town of Husan in the Bethlehem region. As the townspeople
gathered for the evening prayers, the hate-filled settlers, under the
protection of the Occupation Army, began laying siege to the place and
opening live fire in a deliberate attempt to murder the all the worshipers,
causing various injury to thirty citizens, some of them serious. And when
the ambulances attempted to transport the wounded, the settlers and the
soldiers prevented their transport directly to hospitals in and Bethlehem
and Beit Jallah..
    The cold-blooded and despicable shooting of worshipers recalls the
massacre committed by settlers under the protection of the Occupation Army
in the holy Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron in the holy month of Ramadan in 1993.
We turn to world opinion and to all parties for the need to give us
protection from the aggression of settlers and the Occupation Army. We hold
the Israeli government completely responsible for this criminal act of
invasion which represents a dangerous escalation in a crazy attempt to
repress our steadfast people.

   But our people, after this aggression, will not be cowed.and it asserts
that it will cling to its heroic intifada and to its firm national goals.'

wake of events in the town of Husan."

bulletins), although Israel said the shooting was committed by a PA
policeman, who threw away his Kalashnikov rifle at the scene. Similarly
there was no coverage of the stabbing of two Israeli civilians at the al-Ram
junction in Jerusalem on Sunday afternoon

Israel, as long as Israel agrees to Palestinian terms.

The TRUTH About Y2K?

Newswatch Magazine

Revelation 13:1 states: "And I stood upon the sand of the sea
[meaning humanity], and saw a beast [government] rise up out of the
sea [of humanity]." Now notice how far this Beast [or government]
will extend its power! Revelation 13:7 says: ".and power was given
him over ALL kindreds, and tongues, and NATIONS." That is
Global Government no matter how you slice it!

But notice what else will be accomplished by this Global Government.
Revelation 13:16-17 reads: "And he [a second Beast of v.11] causeth
ALL, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a MARK
[for identification] in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that
NO man might be able to BUY and SELL, save he that had the mark, or the
name of the beast, or the number of his name." And, of course, v. 18 tells
us the number is 666.

In the aftermath of Y2K, many Christians have been both disillusioned and
wondering exactly what all the hype and buildup of Y2K was all about in
the first place. Was Y2K imagined? Was it built up to provide a cover for
the real agenda? The following may give some answers as to WHY Y2K was
built up, then allowed to pass with only minor incidents.

Introduction

Joan Veon has covered 35 U.N. conferences on several continents.
Her first conference made her realize that we are in a time of world
government on the International level already. While the beginnings of
world government began long ago, the current phase of world government
infrastructure began between 1941 and 1943, then the passage of the U.N.
Charter by the U.S. Senate in 1945 as its official birthday. All that is
needed to bring this world government into the forefront of everyone's
understanding is a planned, managed, catastrophic event to make the
transition from the world we know in America to that of recognizable world
government based on the United Nations Charter.

It was thought that Y2K would PRESENT an excellent opportunity
to move the U.S. and the world into "official" world government; also put
into effect all of President Clinton's Executive Orders; and cause
starvation in third and fourth world countries.

In view of the FACT that the lights never went out on December 31,
1999, WHAT DID HAPPEN THROUGH THE Y2K PROCESS?

For two years the world was prepared to fight a common enemy. We
were told if BILLIONS of lines of computer code were not fixed, the
world could find itself in chaos. In 1997 Newsweek Magazine printed
an article "The Day the World Shuts Down" in which it listed all of the
sectors of society - industry, the military, banking, medicine,
communications, and utilities, etc. - that are de-pendent on computers.
The article pointed out that buildings could shut down, air traffic
control systems could go dead, the entire infrastructure could go haywire,
military preparedness could be adversely affected, billing systems could
get lost, and cardiac monitors in hospitals could get shut down.

On the heels of a growing awareness, two Y2K books came out
which became bestsellers. Explaining the problem in a logical manner,
Michael S. Hyatt, offered three scenarios based on a survey of 38 computer
experts and year 2000 researchers. The results pointed to a blackout or a
complete meltdown of the entire system. Plus infiltration into Communist
cells had revealed the probable use of the electrical power grids to
"blackout" the nation for deploying U.N. or Russians troops into America.
Numerous Executive Orders were issued which could shift the power of
government to the Federal Emergency Management Agency in the case of a
catastrophe.

In response to this seemingly REAL threat, in February 1998 the president
issued Executive Order 13073, which established the President's Council on
Year 2000 Conversion. The council was comprised of representatives from
more than 30 executive and regulatory agencies and charged with outreach
into the public and private sectors, both domestically and internationally.
John Koskinen was appointed to head up the council. Since this posed a
global threat, the U.N. held Y2K conferences in December 1998 and June
1999. They also set up the International Y2K Cooperation Center and a
steering committee. They instructed each nation-state to appoint a Y2K
national coordinator who would be their country's liaison, the key contact for
other countries, governments, agencies, organizations, and corporations.

Background

In late 1998 to early 1999, many concluded that Y2K was going to
be serious since it appeared to have all the necessary requirements for a
"planned, managed, and catastrophic event" to catapult us from unofficial
world government into "official" world government. Y2K was a transfer of
the world FROM individual nation-states to a new electronically
interconnected world which uses wires, computer processors, and
electricity to cement the individual countries TOGETHER!

Joan Veon, who had attended the 35 U.N. meetings said that from
June 1998 until September 30, 1999, she believed Y2K was going to
be very serious. Her eyes were opened when she attended the 1999
annual IMF/World Bank meeting in Washington, D.C. At that
meeting where everything of importance was discussed, Y2K was a
non-event - there were NO rumblings or undertones about it. If the
"Big Boys" who run the world's monetary system were not
concerned, then there was no reason for anyone to be concerned.
Furthermore, she realized these same "Big Boys" were not going to
go out of 1999 on a stock market that was down, but that they were
going to go out on a MAJOR upswing. She then realized that we
would have one of the strongest "bull" markets ever.

The Agenda

When there were no meltdowns, blackouts, or incidents of note on
December 31, it was declared on national television: "The Y2K bug
has been met and conquered." This statement, along with reading
Y2K czar John Koskinen's press briefing, provided new insight as to
the real agenda behind the Y2K scare. EXACTLY WHAT DID
Y2K DO?

Y2K provided a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the nation-states
of the world who were not Internet savvy to get wired. TheY2K
scare provided an opportunity to transition business and government
into a NEW working relationship which complimented President
Clinton and Al Gore's "Reinvented Government." It set up an
electronic network which is unparalled in all of history. It spurred the
economies of the world and set the tone for a CASHLESS SOCIETY, all of
which facilitate the ushering in of world government.

When a new house is built, the foundation is laid, THEN the structure and
roof added. The wiring allows for the structure to have POWER - "over ALL
kindreds, and tongues, and NATIONS." Y2K was the wiring of the house, as
the structure has already been built. Y2K provided the EXCUSE to transfer
the world FROM individual nation-states INTO an electronically knit world
- a world which is now ONE and which includes BOTH governments and
corporations - the Great Trust. Beginning January 1, 2000, we entered an
electronic world government!

A follow-up question then is: "Were we misled or deceived by our government
as to the seriousness of the situation?" Y2K HAD TO BE PAINTED as being
serious in order to have sufficient reason to get Americans to agree with
Congress that the money had to be spent to repair it - or ELSE. The options
were telling America that billions were needed to get the world WIRED, or
telling them that we have to spend money to fight the Y2K bug. They knew
Americans would NEVER agree to pay billions in taxes to prepare the world
for a CASHLESS DICTATORSHIP to enslave us. The Y2K challenge
CREATED that unifying desire to "meet the enemy eye to eye and win!" With
regard to foreign countries, many cannot provide the basics for their peopl e,
let alone spend monies on getting wired. In order for them to justify the
repositioning of critical dollars, a global problem had to be created.

This picture begins to make sense when you look at HOW the U.N. painted
Y2K. It does appear that Y2K provided a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the
nation-states of the world to get wired for world government WITHOUT many
of them understanding what was happen-ing. In a speech at the second U.N.
Conference on Y2K in June 1999, U.N. Deputy Secretary-General Louise
Frechette said in part:

"The Threat. The millennium bug threatens to disrupt finance, trade,
shipping, telecommunications, air traffic control and other vital public
services such as electricity and natural disaster preparedness. It casts a
shadow over issues of peace and security.

"Solution. The International Y2K Cooperation Center was created
with remarkable speed following the [U.N.] meeting in December
1998. The number of countries with a Y2K PLAN [to fix the
problem] and a national coordinator has risen. New coalitions are
being forged among business, industry, governments, and international
organizations. Such solidarity [a communist phrase] and problem- solving
shows the United Nations in action. Working groups [have] forged
innovative partnerships with all available expertise, including the
private sector and academia; and it has facilitated the efforts of the
Secretariat and wider United Nations family to CREATE AN ELECTRONIC
ORGANIZATION. Ambassador Ahmad Kamel [of Pakistan] helped all of us
harness the Internet, e-mail and other new communications technologies to
our global mission of peace, development and human rights.

"Goal. We must all continue to take advantage of what the new
technologies have to offer - for diplomacy and development, for
advocacy and education. We must all pursue a VISION of a new
century in which all people are [technologically] empowered."

From this speech, it becomes clear that the need to battle the "Y2K
bug" was basically an excuse to synchronize the whole world
electronically in order to bring the lesser developed countries into the
electronic age - a different AGENDA than what we had been told by the
American press.

So WHAT did Y2K do? Let's take a look at what was said by John
Koskinen at several press briefings in early January 2000.

1. Electronic Network or Brains. Press briefings given in the first few day s of
2000 provide us with the real truth of what Y2K was all about - an excuse t o
wage war in order to integrate the world using an electronic medium which
can only further ERASE BORDERS, and make us ONE, facilitating global
integration in a new way for a new century.

Koskinen outlined the following ways we were integrated: A) The
United States created a $50 Billion In-formation Coordination
Center. The ICC is now at the center for state and local governments, the
private sector, multinational and transnational corporations, and our
federal government to interact on a daily basis to coordinate ALL systems
from an electronic basis point. In other words, it appears that the
electronic brains of the global system was created in the U.S. to monitor
and coordinate all of the perceived electronic problems in the world! The
ICC was established, designed, and run by General Peter Kind. It is an
information collection mechanism focused on dealing with information from
around the world. Koskinen organized more than 25 task forces to reach out
to industry groups, corporations, the U.N., and foreign trading partners.
He collected confidential industry information to assess the potential Y2K
risks (Washington Post, 12/16/99, p. G8). Reports sent to the center came
from all government agencies and industry as well as FEMA and the Federal
Reserve Board and executive branch.

In explaining the VASTNESS of the ICC, Koskinen said: "What we
have [en]capsulated here in the Information Coordinator Center is a
unique operation. Communication going on, with ALL of our
embassies and national coordinators in countries around the world, all
freely exchanging information, which IS the final step in a long process
of exchanging technical information and advice [Editor's note: of creation
of world government]. We have begun to look at the question of HOW we can
build on this sort of unprecedented amount of cooperation and work
together."

The USA Today reported Koskinen boasting: "Solving Y2K proved
that I can run the world with four people."

B) On May 22, 1998, the Policy on Critical Infrastructure Protection
program was released. It sets up the "National Infrastructure
Protection Center, which includes the FBI, the Secret Service, the
Department of Defense, and the intelligence agencies which are all
ORDERED to cooperate with NIPC." We will shortly live in a totally
controlled society where everyone cooperates or.

C) Financial markets were coordinated from an information
standpoint BOTH nationally and GLOBALLY This will begin to
usher in GLOBAL GOVERNANCE that Clinton, Gore, and the
United Nations want.

2. Partnerships. Joe Lockhart, White House spokesman said Y2K was
successful in getting government working in partnership with local
governments, communities, and corporations. In other words, GAIN
CONTROL OVER THEM SO THEY CAN DICTATE POLICY. This is in
complete agreement with President Bill Clinton's Socialist/Communist
"Reinventing Government." He began this partnership of government with
private partnerships in 1993. This way GOVERNMENT can merge with
EVERY part of society and run it. He tried to MERGE the Social Security
Trust Fund with the stock market and was soundly defeated.

There were several other permanent partnerships which were created
to fight Y2K. U.S. Energy Secretary Bill Richardson and his Russian
counterpart created a permanent partnership in the area of energy
(Washington Post, 1/4/2000, p. A13). In addition, the U.S. and
Russia created a joint team to monitor Y2K from the U.S. Space
Command at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs. This
agreement was set up under an agreement signed in 1998 by Defense
Secretary William Cohen and his Russian counterpart, Marshal Igor
D. Sergeyev. Ultimately, the experiment will evolve into a permanent
Joint Warning Center to be built near Moscow and staffed by officers
from both countries.

3. Provided Corporations with a Leading Edge for the 21st Century. Business
Week stated that the Y2K bug ".FORCED companies and government
agencies all over the world to get rid of buggy old software and aging
hardware and invest in new technology. Now systems are in place to provide
a solid foundation for all sorts of new online systems for e-commerce and e -
government." No wonder the NASDAQ rose 85.6%. The sales of all the new
technology to businesses and governments around the world.

4. Spurred the Economies of the World - An Economic Substitute for
War. The Kennedy administration commissioned 15 men, experts in
their fields, to determine WHAT WOULD HAVE TO CHANGE IN
AMERICA IF WE WERE TO ENTER A PERMANENT TIME
OF PEACE. This top-secret report was published by one of the 15
whose identity is still unknown. Their conclusions stated that we
would have to find an enemy OTHER than our fellow man. They
suggested the environment. Since war is an economic stimulus, they
determined that 10% of our Gross Domestic Product would have to
be wasted each year. They suggested a number of ways to waste that
10%: a space program, medical research, free housing for the poor,
etc.

The COST to fix Y2K would be more than the cost of any GLOBAL
WAR. To fight this Y2K enemy, the U.S. government spent over
$8.5 billion, and the country, as a whole, spent $100 billion. In
comparison, the cost of the Vietnam War was $300 billion over ten
years. The GLOBAL cost to fight Y2K was estimated at $600
billion. Now, we have EVERY SIGN of a global economy emerging.

5. Set the Tone for a Cashless Society. In a society where
EVERYTHING is cashless there will be the eventual elimination of
ATMs, etc. When EVERYTHING can be done by telephone or
Internet, the next thing to be fully changed is the monetary system so
that "NO man might be able to BUY and SELL, save he that had the mark."

What is the BOTTOM line of the Y2K scare? While an electronic
system increases production, reduces costs, eliminate waste, and
basically makes everything sustainable, it is also capable of tracking
EVERY individual, rendering them as nothing but individual production
UNITS with value as long as they can produce.

Conclusions

The presented THREAT of Y2K would: 1) require global compliance in ways
that companies would never have allowed because of intrusion by
government - BIG BROTHER; 2) cause local, state, national and international
agencies to interact with each other about disaster relief and other issues
which comprised a NEW LEVEL of global cooperation, all of which were
needed for global government; 3) present a multitude of problems for which
the U.N. and its nation- states MUST find solutions together; 4) provide an
excellent opportunity to merge the world's policemen, firemen, emergency
management systems, military forces, national guardsmen, etc.; 5) transfer
wealth and technology FROM the rich countries TO the poor countries
[Marxism]; 6) reinforce the implementation of Clinton's "reinvention of
government" at the community level; and 7) equate the expenditures of
monies, a goal which "The Report from Iron Mountain" said would be
necessary in the absence of war. It appears that all of these have or are
happening to further World Government.

On one Public Broadcast station on the night of December 31, 1999,
the moderator said: "In a sense, the lines between nations and
BORDERS are our own contrivance. As we go from capital to
capital tonight to ring in the new millennium, we can see that we are ONE
on earth - we are one people UNITED."

In addition to a major rewiring of the world so that we are all on the
same "electrical system," the celebrations which we witnessed on
television on December 31, 1999, and the comments made by those who
moderated it sent a CLEAR message - "WE ARE ONE."

WERE WE HOODWINKED? Absolutely yes! We may have seen
the last of Y2K, but have we also seen, very soon, the LAST of
national sovereignty?

Everyone seems to be LULLED to sleep by the Y2K hoax pulled off
by the proponents of World Government! Notice what the Bible says
about it: "For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then SUDDEN
destruction cometh.and they shall not escape" (1 Thes. 5:3).

Let's Go Back Into History a Moment

The United States was formed when certain colonies which were
totally independent of each other decided to delegate limited authority to
a central government. The central government was never to be used to usurp
the Sovereignty of the individual nation State - such as Alabama, Michigan
and Texas. ALL power not delegated to the central [or federal] government
was to be retained BY the States and the peoples of those several States.

The Illuminati, who have been working for world government for two
centuries, did not want 48 strong State governments, which has now
expanded to 50. It would be more difficult to win 48 or 50 separate
States and subvert them for world government, so they decided to
infiltrate in SECRET to centralize all power into an all powerful
Federal Government. This would emasculate the Sovereignty of the
individual States and subjugate them to a Federal Government which
would by-pass the State's Rights and the Rights of We the people.

There were many instances where sections of the country discussed
secession because of infringement upon State's Rights. The New England
States discussed it in 1812. The Middle Atlantic States discussed it but
never followed through. Why did these different sections of the country fee l
open to discuss secession? The first District Attorney in the United States ,
William Rawle, wrote a textbook - A View of the Constitution - that the
Federal Government paid the military academy in New York, a Northern
State, to teach its cadets in 1825-1826. The textbook taught that secession
was LEGAL if the Federal Government OVERSTEPPED its delegated
authority and infringed upon State's Rights and the Rights of We the people .

This is WHY these various sections in the Middle and Northern
States felt perfectly comfortable in discussing the possibility of
seceding from the Union. IT WAS THEIR RIGHT IF THEY WERE
BEING ABUSED BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT!!!

Finally, in 1861 several Southern States began to secede from the
Union because of the Federal Governments infringement upon their
State Sovereignty. In all 11 States seceded. Even Northern
newspapers stated the South had the right to do so and wished them
well. Abraham Lincoln even advocated the legality of secession in
1848. As president, he bade the South farewell as he was having 7
ships loaded with military equipment headed for Fort Sumter, South
Carolina.

Chief Justice of the Supreme Court from 1864-1873, Salomon Chase, stated
that with the surrender of Robert E. Lee that "State's Rights died." Did th ey?
How could any Amendment to the Constitution just die without a
Constitutional Convention to vote to eliminate it from the document? The on ly
Confederacy President, Jefferson Davis, said State's Rights would rear its
head at another time and under another circumstance BECAUSE the issue
of State's Rights could not be settled by war. Was he right? Is the issue o f
State's Rights raising its head again? Louisiana passed in a State-wide vot e
Amendment 11 (eleven) to their State Constitution which reaffirmed their
Tenth Amendment status to the Federal Constitution. They have the right to
refuse any law the Federal Congress passes that is outside the limits of th e
Tenth Amendment. Arizona has voted out of committee HCR-2034 that
states they can secede from the Union if the Federal Government were to
declare Martial Law WITHOUT the State's consent. They could also secede
if the Federal Government tried to confiscate guns and disarm the people -
violation of the Second Amendment right to bare arms.

Alabama investigated the threat of the United Nations' Treaty to
State's Rights and Sovereignty in 1964. They concluded the United
Nations was created to be a direct ASSAULT upon the Constitution
of the United States and individual State Sovereignty and the loss of all
the freedoms protected by the Constitution.

Senator Jesse Helms of North Carolina spoke to the Security Council
of the United Nations in January 2000. He said Americans were
feeling that the United Nations wanted to become a Centralized
World Government. They would NEVER usurp the power of the
United States.

Within days of this meeting, the U.N. announced a scheduled meeting in
September 2000 to discuss "Global Governance." They would also discuss a
U.N. military independent of all nations. Alice Bailey [New Ager] wrote in her
book "The Externalisation of the Hierarchy," that all atomic weapons belong
to the United Nations and should be turned over to them FOR USE against
any political group or nation or RELIGIOUS group, and named the Roman
Catholic Church by name, that resisted the New World Order (page 548).
Read Revelation 13:4 & 17:1-6, 15-18.

Clinton CULTIVATING FRIENDSHIPS to Subdue America!

Could an Emergency Management meeting have taken place in the
summer of 1999 that involved several State and Federal law
enforcement agencies and FEMA to discuss Weapons of Mass
Destruction and the role to be played by the local, state and federal
agencies? Could this meeting have had speakers from the FBI, BATF, FEMA,
US Marshals office, Department of Defense, DEA, INS, IRS, Department of
Justice, Department of Army, Domestic and International Terrorism, and
several people only identified as undercover operatives?

No cameras or tape recorders were allowed in the room. Special ID
was required. A warning was given that the information presented
was for the governments planning and NOT for public review or
comment. The loyal American revealing this information has done so
because he/she did not like what was said.

He/she said the whole training session boiled down to this: The
Federal Government has a big fear that the American public has had
just about enough of government intrusion into their lives, and they
[the American citizens] are at a boiling point. Also, that this whole
country is in such a state of anger, frustration, and confusion, and is so
volatile, that any spark could set in motion a Civil War that would
ultimately DESTROY our government as we know it.

A Special Agent in charge, from the FBI Terrorist Investigation Unit,
spoke for almost two hours concerning militia in the U.S. He said there
was now over 1,300 militia units in the U.S. with 25 or more persons in
each unit. Three new active militia groups organize each year out of fear
of the federal government. 400 plus active militias have an FBI agent,
paid informant infiltrated into them, US Marshal working with the DEA, or
a DEA agent working inside one of the groups. 10% of the militia are prior
military. 2% of the militia have the necessary skills to teach combat
readiness.

He pointed out that 20% of the militia members are armed to equal or
exceed the standards for the regular US military. 20% of the militia
members have set targets in case of federal government tyranny,
operational plans and a way to execute them. 20% of the militia have
education past high school. The federal agents believe that 20% of the
militia members will actually pull the trigger IF or WHEN something goes
wrong - without hesitation.

With those figures, he went on to say that the government is
concerned about the rise in the number of militia who may shoot when
they feel it necessary. Quote: "If this number should rise from 20% to
60%, America as we know it would cease to exist. Federal, State and local
law enforcement agencies will not have the man power to take on such an
onslaught, if armed citizens should decide to make war against the
government. Martial Law would have to be declared and the military brought
in. This would only fuel the citizens anger and draw the fence riders off
to the side of the militia, as they have been warning that this
administration has plans to do this anyway. Now don't get me wrong, the
federal government has plans to deal with such as this, but America WILL
NEVER BE THE SAME."

At this point a question was asked: "Just what plans does the federal
government have? And from your comment it doesn't look like State and
local governments will be consulted or even included in the making of this
plan." The answer: "American government is set up to continue under the
most stressful situations. However, we have always fought on foreign soil.
No one can say for sure what a civil war would do here. To be frankly
honest, this administration has been cultivating friendships to HELP with
this, but we will not get into that, I see no need for it, and I am not
sure how much I can say."

Those "friendships" that the Clinton administration is "cultivating" are
foreign troops UNDER the NATO Alliance of the United Nations and Russian,
Chinese and other Communist countries. They have been having "URBAN
PACIFICATION" training all across America - Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Anniston
[Alabama], Kingsville [Texas], and many others to prepare to fight against
Americans that do NOT want to be merged into an all powerful United
Nations and lose ALL of our Constitutionally guaranteed freedoms.

The main reason America is in such danger is that most have turned
their back upon the One and only true God. Total "repentance" will
be required before God will intervene and heal our land. We must
discover WHY Jesus shed "the blood of the Everlasting Covenant."
"Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord
Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the
EVERLASTING COVENANT, make you perfect in every good
work to DO his will, working IN you that which is well-pleasing in his
sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory" (Hebrews 13:20-21); If the
United States, as a nation, does not repent, notice what will happen:
".and sware by him that liveth forever that it shall be for a time, times,
and a half [3 =BD years]; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter th e
POWER [military, economic, religious and political] of the holy people,
all these things shall be finished ( Daniel 12:7 [last]).

Notice that there is to be an ALL powerful military which will absorb the
United States power: ".Who is like unto the beast [government]? Who is
able to make war with him?" (Revelation 13: 4);And notice WHO will be
targeted for EXTINCTION by this Socialist-Communist system called the
United Nations! "And it was given unto him to make war with the SAINTS,
and to overcome them: and power was GIVEN him [by Satan the devil
according to Luke 4:5-6] over ALL kindreds, and tongues, and nations"
(Revelation 13:7).

God would have mercy if REPENTANCE were to be found in the
nation: "If MY [God's] people, which are called by my name, shall
humble themselves, and PRAY, and SEEK my face, and TURN
[repent] from their wicked ways; THEN will I hear from heaven, and
will forgive their sin, and will heal their land" (2 Chronicles 7:14).
Since America is not and will not turn back to God, then God has provided
a "place" of protection for His TRUE SAINTS.

"And when the dragon [Rev.12:9 identifies this dragon as the unseen spirit in
rebellion to God - Satan the devil] saw that he was cast unto the earth, he
persecuted the woman [the church after it received the Holy Spirit on the d ay
of Pentecost - Acts 2] which brought forth the man child. And to the woman
[small, true church] were given two wings of a great [symbolic] eagle, that
she might fly [escape] into the wilderness, INTO HER PLACE, where she is
